kde-telepathy-text-ui software package provides Telepathy text chat UI for the KDE Plasma Desktop, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kde-telepathy-text-ui
kde-telepathy-text-ui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kde-telepathy-text-ui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kde-telepathy-text-ui *
You will get with kde-telepathy-text-ui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
